DLD College - A-level Results 2011

An overall pass-rate of 98 % is being celebrated by students, parents and teachers.
38 subjects achieved a pass-rate of 100% Russian, Italian and German gained 100% A*/A-grades and Mathematics 40% A*/A-grades
57% overall at grades A*/A or B
79% overall at grades A-C

·     Thomas Shering gained A* for Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics
·     Huw Evans gained an A* for Mathematics and A-grades for Further Maths and Physics
·     Ming Chen gained A* for Mathematics and Further Maths and A-grades for Statistics and Physics
·     Daniel Herman gained A-grades for Art, Drama and French
·     Nicole Mauer gained A-grades for Biology, Chemistry and Psychology
·     Lianjun Qiu gained an A*-grade for Mathematics and A-grades for Further Maths and Chemistry

The following students came to retake subjects at DLD College and have improved their grades:

·     James Brown improved  in three subjects gaining AAA Physics, Mathematics and Biology (former grades BBB)
·     Harry Van Horn improved in three subjects gaining  AAA in  Biology, Physics and Mathematics (former grades BBC)
·     Rachel Hunter-Jones gained A A in Chemistry and Biology (former grades C and B)
·     George Luck gained BB for Economics and History (former grades CC)
·     Nick Fox gained AA in Mathematics and Physics (former grades BB)
·     Natasha Brunton gained AAB  in Mathematics French and Spanish  (former  grades BBC)
·     Freddie Knight improved his grades in Biology, History and Geography from UDC to CBB respectively

DLD students have worked hard this year, helped by their teachers. This year's results have registered an improvement on last year's. Congratulations to all concerned.
